Sounds like you are missing or accidentally deleted a file.... if you still have the rar, unrar it again using WinRAR's latest beta version, and copy those files into the other directory.

Also, don't mess with the 'hidden' attributes on the files that are hidden. I did that, and the game stopped working.

I have already changed the unicode settings and reboot but the characters still don't appear in japanese and it doesn't work.

I'm having the same problem. The characters are all garbled even though I have JP text support and it won't open.

I've been meaning to try this game for a while, but I'm having trouble getting it to run. I've got 64 bit vista, and am running it in compatibility mod for XP and as adminoistrator. I click the "Application" icon in the file folder, but all it does is start up, them instantly close itself. Anyone know of a solution?
