how about using mediafire instead of the bad rapidshare standard? or at least megaupload? it would take days to download from rapidshare. even better would be a torrent. you seem to be the type that wants to share, so consider switching from the old rapidshare to a new better one.

OP here. megaupload doesn't work for me that well, sorry. I cannot do torrents on my ISP, They got a router that stops them. OK in the future I will put two uploads one on mediafire and other on rapid. But be warned, I tend to scan stuff at 400 DPI and keep it high rez so the files are big.
there are many tricks you can use to use rapid. One is to make a free collectors' account that will bring you points (what I am doing)
Another is to get the firefox plug in add on, once installed, you put a list of links inside it and it d/les stuff automatically with 10 minutes waits between d/ls. You don't have to do anything else.

I assume you won't bother scanning in the first print either since "the original" has improvements, so i don't blame you there if not.

personally i get most of my comics via DC++, if you are a fan of having lots available to you, you might wanna check it out. it takes a bit of learning and you'll need to have a cache to share available right away but it's very rewarding. comicshack.no-ip.info:411 is probably the best hub i know for comics.

also i can start uploading to mediafire/megaupload if you'd like me to do so. i will however mention that i prefer my comics stored in a certain manner, and as such have repacked your rars into CBRs for my own convenience. if you have a strict filetype and naming structure you wish to uphold I can do so, otherwise i'll just upload the versions I've prepped for myself. lemme know what you want and i'll get em started. my filenames are basically: New Bondage Fairies Issue 1 [HQ scan].cbr if you want a "scanned by" credit in there or whatever lemme know and I can do that.

no, I dont have the original printing. This is it, I'm done, i scanned all the original, fetish, second issues. I am sorry that i lost the extreme issues because IMO the art is the best there. But I changed continents and somehow the majority of extreme series got lost. I had to literally smuggle the manga placed in boxes inside my car, and the contents of the car never got checked. I bet this manga will be considered illegal in a lot of countries.
Personally i think the first printing had better, more coherent translation than the eros printing.
I have tried DC++ but my 3rd world ISP got a router and they block a lot of the traffic; I cant get proper connection, i can only connect in passive mode, i get low id on eMule too. I'm scanning Shirow's Dominion series and the Intron depot books.
You can upload the stuff anywhere you wish maybe even on more obscure ones like deposit.

I've been wanting to get into scanning some stuff too but my scanners are producing less than great results. considering trying out that Vuescan software that claims to get better results than default drivers. If I ever get around to being bale ot make quality scans, I'll probably get stuff like the american Gall Force comic, maybe those last few missing issues of TMNT...oh and I'd love to get all the Studio Ironcat stuff like Ironcat, Hyper Dolls, and Virtual Bang scanned up someday too. Many of those I already own which also helps.

OP, thanks for rescanning these gems. Do you have more of the eXtreme series? That's the only one you're missing.

I'm getting ready to make the torrent here pretty soon but I've hit a snag. I've found at least decent quality versions of all of extreme except issue 3. Every copy i find is the same shitty 3 meg scan. if anyone has a better quality version, ie one where the black and white pages aren't all shat on by terrible scan issues, please let me know. i've downloaded like 5 batched versions of the series now and have yet to find anything but this same scan.

looking at them again, 3-5 are all fairly bad. but i may just go ahead with it for now, in hopes that it gets someone else to scan them someday. check this thread for a torrent probably by the weekend.

I got the same 3 Mbs scan too..this may make you mad but I USED to have good scans of extreme that i had d/led from Usenet ABPEA group but I scratched the CD they were on and it could not be saved. Now I make several copies of DVDs.
So a good scan of Extreme does exist, somewhere. If anybody got a usenet access they might post a request at ABPEA group.

I've got a complete set that equals a 35 meg archive so I'm guessing it's the same poor scan you guys are talking about :(

well, just found my old cds and went through them, sadly no fairies anywhere to be found.

i'm now considering posting the new scans to the group in hopes of someone coming forward with the better old ones, but it's been a loooong time since i've posted anything to a newsgroup. maybe i'll go find their IRC channel and talk to them directly.

Alright I managed to fumble my way through posting a REQ message on the group, we'll see if anyone happens to read it and pull through for us. Here's hoping.
